Toddler Daycare and Early Learning on Saratoga Ave

Our Saratoga campus is our West Valley school, a smaller campus where teachers know every child and family by name, and the toddler classrooms are where most Saratoga families join us for the first time, alongside children moving up from our Saratoga infant room. Under director Ms. Anu Agarwal, the toddler rooms at 12770 Saratoga Ave are set up as open learning spaces: low shelves of Montessori practical-life materials for pouring, scooping, and sorting, a reading corner, and a fenced outdoor play area toddlers use every day the weather allows. The program starts at 18 months.

Our Saratoga campus is open Mon - Fri: 8:15am - 5:30pm, so working parents get a full day of care in one place. Teachers share photos, meals, naps, and diaper or potty updates through the Brightwheel app, and the whole campus is nut- and peanut-free. Our Kindness Curriculum and Creative Curriculum lessons sit alongside the Montessori materials, giving toddlers structure without taking away the freedom to move and explore.

What the Toddler Program Looks Like at Saratoga

Toddlers learn by moving, touching, and talking, so the Saratoga toddler day is built around short, active blocks rather than long sit-down lessons. Here is what parents can expect from the toddler rooms on Saratoga Ave.

Language That Takes Off

Teachers narrate everything they do, read aloud daily, and lead circle time songs and finger plays. Toddlers at Saratoga also get early exposure to Spanish through our enrichment program, and most families notice a jump in vocabulary within the first few months.

Practical Life and Independence

Hand-washing, putting on shoes, carrying a plate, wiping a table: Montessori practical-life work gives toddlers real jobs they can finish on their own. When your child shows readiness, Saratoga teachers partner with you on potty training so the approach at school matches home.

Movement and Outdoor Play Every Day

The fenced Saratoga play yard is used daily, and physical exercise or dance is part of the routine. Optional enrichment like yoga and music adds variety during the week, with some classes offered at an additional cost.

Gentle Transitions

New Saratoga families get a gradual start, and Brightwheel updates during the first weeks help parents see their toddler settling in. Children moving up from the Saratoga infant room already know the campus and many of the teachers.

After visiting several schools, we decided to start here and have been really happy with our choice. The director, Anu, is amazing, and Ms. Millie is a wonderful teacher. My toddler loves going there. It's play-based while still offering a strong curriculum.

We started at Level Up Saratoga for my 18 month old. Level Up has done a really nice job of helping my child get adjusted to daycare life, something I was most worried about. Within a few weeks, my child wakes up wanting to go to daycare. In just a few weeks he has also picked up so much new vocabulary.
