After-School Care for TK and Kindergarten on Peralta Blvd
Our Peralta campus offers an after-school program for transitional kindergarten and kindergarten students, including pick-up from nearby elementary schools. Long known to local families as Happy Bear Learning, our Peralta campus is our central Fremont school, so many after-school families are former preschool and pre-k parents whose children already know the teachers at 3620 Peralta Blvd. Under director Ms. Arpita Patel, the afternoon is calm and predictable: a snack, time outside, homework help, Montessori work and art, and free play until pick-up.
The Peralta campus is open until 5:30 PM, close to Fremont Blvd, I-880, and the Centerville train station, which gives working parents a dependable end to the school day. Families see check-in times, snacks, and photos through the Brightwheel app, and the whole campus is fenced, access-controlled, and nut- and peanut-free.

Pick-Up From Nearby Schools
Peralta staff pick up TK and kindergarten students from nearby elementary schools when the school day ends, so parents do not have to leave work mid-afternoon. Ask the campus which schools are currently on the pick-up route.
Snack, Homework Help, and Reading
After a healthy nut-free snack, Peralta teachers guide children through any homework or reading practice their school sends home, then move into Montessori work and activities. Parents tell us this is the part of the day they appreciate most.
Montessori Work, Art, and Outdoor Play
Children choose from Montessori materials, art projects, and group activities, then head to the fenced Peralta play yard. Enrichment such as music, yoga, or dance runs on some afternoons, with some classes offered at an additional cost.
One Pick-Up for the Whole Family
Many Peralta after-school families also have a younger child in our toddler, preschool, and pre-k classrooms, so one stop on Peralta Blvd covers everyone. The campus is open until 5:30 PM, and the sibling discount applies.
