Level Up Montessori - Hayward
Programs:
Infant Care, Toddler, Pre-school & K
Serving:
Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Union City, San Leandro, Fairview & Cherryland
Our Hayward campus at 31145 Mission Blvd is the original Level Up Montessori location and one of the few schools in the area where a baby can start in infant care and stay through kindergarten without ever changing schools. Led by our director, Ms. Sandhya, the Hayward infant program gives the youngest children a calm, predictable room, caregivers who learn each baby's cues, and plenty of floor time, tummy time, and gentle sensory exploration.
Hayward families get some of the longest hours in our network, Mon - Fri: 7:30am - 6:00pm, which makes early drop-offs and East Bay commutes along I-880 and Mission Blvd far easier. Parents receive photos and daily notes through the Brightwheel app, and the campus is fenced, access-controlled, and completely nut- and peanut-free.

Babies do not run on a classroom clock, so our Hayward infant room does not either. Each infant follows their own feeding and nap schedule, and the day is built around responsive care, close connection, and small moments of discovery. Here is what Hayward parents can expect day to day.
At enrollment we record your baby's feeding, napping, and soothing routines, then follow them at school. Bottles, breast milk, and baby food come from home and are labeled and handled per our nut-free policy. As your child grows, caregivers coordinate with you on each transition, from purees to finger foods and from two naps to one.
Hayward families see feedings, diaper changes, naps, and photos throughout the day in the Brightwheel app, and can message the room directly. Many of our Hayward parents mention this communication as the reason drop-off feels stress-free, especially during the first weeks of care.
Even before walking, infants explore low shelves of simple, safe materials: textured objects to grasp, mirrors at floor level, board books, and music and movement time. Caregivers narrate what babies see and do, building the early language foundation that continues in our Toddler Program.
The Hayward campus is fully fenced, not visible from the street, and uses restricted access control at the entrance. The entire school is nut- and peanut-free. Free on-site and street parking make quick infant drop-offs and pick-ups easier for parents carrying car seats and bags.

One of the biggest reasons Hayward families choose us for infant care is what comes next. Children move from the infant room into our toddler, preschool, and kindergarten classrooms on the same campus, with teachers who already know them and routines that stay familiar. Many of our infant families commute from Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, San Leandro, Union City, Fairview, and Cherryland. The campus sits just off Mission Blvd with free parking, making it a practical option across the central East Bay.
Infant care openings are scarce across the East Bay, so many families from neighboring communities choose our Hayward campus for their baby. Mission Blvd connects directly to Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, and Union City, and the 7:30 AM opening works well for parents commuting toward Oakland, Fremont, or across the San Mateo Bridge. These are nearby communities we serve from Hayward, not additional campuses.
